JoAnne Valenzia

Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor

JoAnne Valenzia graduated from the University of San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a minor in Spanish. Upon graduation she was commissioned into the Air Force and became an Intelligence Officer and eventually transitioned to the Air Force Reserves. She met her husband, Jeff, in college and together they have been stationed throughout the US and Korea on multiple Air Force assignments. They have two nearly grown children, Kaylee and Tyler.

JoAnne’s love affair with horses began with her first childhood pony and she has tried to stay connected to horses throughout the many moves.  She has volunteered at several therapeutic riding facilities in AZ, GA and CO.  She started volunteering at Cloverleaf in 2013 until her family moved to GA and returned as a volunteer to Cloverleaf in 2021.

JoAnne is a PATH-certified therapeutic riding instructor.
