Anna Morrison
Equine Specialist in Mental Health & Learning
Anna Morrison (she/her) is a life-long horse person with a passion for relationship-based horsemanship. She has ridden for years and has spent the past two years diving deep into the world of equine positive reinforcement training. She loves how this form of equine training creates joy and relaxation for both horses and humans.
Formerly on the Center for Diversity and Inclusion Center team at American University, Anna’s background is in facilitating conversation and connection around topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a passion for working with the LGBTQIA community. She’s grateful to be a part of a barn environment like Cloverleaf that embraces diversity and facilitates spaces of belonging for each person.
In 2023, Anna completed her PATH International certification as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning after working in equine-assisted learning programs with elders. She is currently finishing up her clinical Masters in Social Work degree with Columbia University and will graduate in 2025. In her spare time, you’ll find her clicker training with her draft-cross pony, Raina, or at home with her wife and (objectively) adorable pittie-mix pup, Pixel, making focaccia bread or learning to compost.
