Janelle Nowak-Santo

Janelle brings more than 20 years of global marketing and communications leadership experience at the intersection of digital strategy, brand, and corporate reputation. She has led major initiatives for Fortune 100 companies, financial institutions, and public and private organizations — including Capital One and Federal Realty Investment Trust — with a focus on the REIT and financial services sectors. Throughout her career, Janelle has advised executives through complex, high-stakes situations such as mergers, litigation, investor engagement, and brand transformations, ensuring that communications strategies align with business goals and deliver measurable results.
Janelle has been connected to Cloverleaf for over 30 years having seen firsthand the profound impact the program has on its clients through family members. In numerous volunteer, board, and fundraising roles, she has also been a proud supporter of Cloverleaf’s mission and has helped champion the annual Polo Classic since its founding nearly 20 years ago.
A lifelong equestrian, Janelle grew up riding and fox hunting in Northern Virginia and continues to ride today. She and her husband live in Northern Virginia with their three daughters, who all love horses and are active riders. Janelle is deeply involved in her daughters’ school communities, supporting their academic and athletic pursuits while continuing her own riding as well as the girls’ equestrian pursuits.
