Brittany Schruefer

Program Director

Brittany Schruefer comes to Cloverleaf with a unique blend of expertise in veterinary care and a passion for community wellness. In her career as an equine veterinary nurse and volunteer coordinator, Britt has demonstrated a deep commitment to animal welfare. She believes that animal healthcare fosters the connection that animals have with people and their shared environments.

As a graduate of Loyola University Chicago with degrees in English and International Studies, Britt has always been drawn to interdisciplinary pursuits and engaging with diverse perspectives in her work. In college, she studied abroad in Finland, Nepal, Jordan, and Chile where she learned the importance of diverse perspectives in social change. Britt also finds solace and joy in being outdoors. As an avid horseback rider, skier, and whitewater kayaker, Britt believes that some of the best things in life are done with a helmet and a non-traditional team.
