Shelby Morrison is the Development Director at Cloverleaf Equine Center, where she first began volunteering in 2009. Since joining the staff, she has served as volunteer coordinator and in communications roles, building a deep connection to Cloverleaf’s mission and community. Today, she works closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and staff to secure the resources that help Cloverleaf’s clients thrive through equine-assisted services.

Shelby brings more than 25 years of experience in communications, public relations, and media relations. She began her career as Research/News Director for CoStar Group in Bethesda, Maryland, before serving as Assistant Director of Public Relations for the Washington Commanders for nearly a decade.

A 1999 graduate of Penn State University, Shelby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with minors in Business and American Studies. She is also a PATH International-certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning, bringing firsthand program experience to her fundraising and outreach work. An avid football fan, Shelby enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and numerous pets
