Sarah began volunteering at Cloverleaf in 2017. Originally from Elburn, Illinois, she grew up on a small property with horses and learned to ride at a young age. A few years after beginning her career in Washington, DC, she began training in Eventing and bought her horse Rocky (aka Rockstar Rebellion) at the start of 2020. She volunteered at therapeutic riding and equine-assisted learning programs in Illinois, Maryland and Virginia before arriving at Cloverleaf.

Sarah works full-time as a communications professional, she holds a BS in journalism from Iowa State University.
