Lydia Desjardins
Program Coordinator
Lydia is a recent graduate from Colorado State University where she received her Bachelor’s in Equine Science. Her studies focused primarily on Therapeutic Riding and equine behavior, and she recently took part in the ASPCA’s Right Horse program as a student trainer, working with a rescue horse and preparing her for a permanent home. Lydia also spent a summer interning with a therapeutic riding center in Colorado, assisting with riding sessions, office management and client relations, and research into the long-term benefits of therapeutic riding.
In her free time, Lydia enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and spending lots of time with her friends, family, and service dog, Clover. Lydia is also currently working towards becoming a PATH Intl. certified therapeutic riding instructor.
