Jaime Santucci
Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor
Jaime’s love for horses and riding came at the early age of 3 while growing up in western Oklahoma. Her family owned a farm with horses and some of her fondest memories were of time spent venturing the wide-open land on horseback and working in the barn. In college she switched from Western saddle and started riding English saddle; she fell in love showing in the hunter and jumper arena. She currently trains at an Eventing barn in Nokesville where she is able to blend her passions for the classic and skillful art of dressage with arena and field jumping.
Jaime attended college at West Virginia University where she earned her undergraduate degree in Music Pedagogy and International Studies. After her undergraduate degree she earned a commission in the Air Force and served on active duty, where she later met her (now) husband. Jaime also holds a graduate degree in Biomedical Sciences with graduate research work focused in Anatomy and Physiology, and Neuroscience.
After their retirement from the military in 2018, Jaime and her family settled in the Northern Virginia area. She currently works for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, teaches flute and piano privately and for Fairfax County Public Schools, as well as serves as an anatomy and physiology college faculty member. Jaime is excited to bring her passion for horses, medical sciences, and teaching to Cloverleaf Equine Center.
