Emma Walsh

Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor

Emma grew up in Maryland and has been riding and expanding upon her horsemanship skills since the age of 7.  She competed in local hunter/jumper shows and leased horses until purchasing her first horse at the start of college. When she is not teaching therapeutic riding and horsemanship, she is operating her equine business in Northern VA where she offers board, training, and lessons. She is passionate about helping both people and animals.

Emma became a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor in February 2022. She graduated from St. Andrews University in December 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic horsemanship and a minor in psychology and equine studies.
