This mini-retreat is open to all kinds of caregivers — including parents and guardians\, people who care for family or friends of all ages\, people in caregiving professions\, or those who volunteer their time supporting others.  \n\n\n\nDuring this unmounted (non-riding) session\, we’ll engage in self-reflection\, nature-based mindfulness\, and herd observations and connection that bring into focus the areas of life where you deserve support. SUMMARY:Reining in Anxiety - Spring Season 2026
DESCRIPTION:Reining in Anxiety is a research-driven\, 10-week program designed to build confidence\, strengthen emotional awareness\, and foster meaningful connection in a supportive group setting! The program\, a cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) skills group delivered in an adaptive/therapeutic horseback riding setting\, was developed by a research team at New York University and is designed to help children and adolescents (ages 5-17) manage mild to moderate anxiety.  \n\n\n\nGroups are administered by Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors (CTRIs)\, under the supervision of a licensed clinician. This offering provides a fun and engaging way to work on mental health skills.
